JVH’s new DPQ controller interface is a HMI package designed to communicate directly to Bosch-Rexroth’s VT-HACD-DPQ injection control module. Utilizing Allen-Bradley’s robust VersaViewCE and PanelView Plus product line, this package allows quick, user friendly access to all profile parameters controlled by the DPQ module.
The system can be incorporated as an add-on injection controller allowing nearly any hydraulic molding machine to repeatably control the injection process. Interface to the existing equipment is handled through discrete signals wired to the card holder. Existing sensors and hydraulics may be utilized to further decrease installation cost based upon current machine equipment.
Basic process screens are available on the monochrome six inch version and include Injection, Hold, and Recovery. These screens contain profile setpoints and transition information. (click graphic to enlarge)
The larger color 10 and 12 inch HMI packages contain additional information and options. Profile setpoints are represented graphically to provide a simple overview of the process. Recipe storage is included to provide quick, trouble free mold changeover time. Setup and Calibration screens are available to allow easy access to process tuning values. A Process Trend screen is incorporated to graphically display the feedback from sensors including screw position, hydraulic injection pressure and cavity pressure. And, Diagnostics provide a window into what is happening on-board the DPQ module such as current block number, I/O status and fault information for state of the art injection molding from JVH Engineering..
